The DFW make £3000 in 6 months challenge!

Options
Hi everyone, I have been racking my brains for a challenge to set myself for the new year and have come up with this one, based on the truly inspirational journey I have had doing the 'make £1000 in 4 months' challenge.

I have posted it up here in the hope that some of you will join me. Hey even if you don't, this can be a thread just for me and my one woman challenge!:rotfl:

The idea is to make money in 6 months, namely starting January 1st and ending July 1st. You can select from the following levels:

BRONZE LEVEL - £1000
SILVER LEVEL - £2000
GOLD LEVEL - £3000

Put you aim on your sig and keep a running total of all extra money you make. This can obviously been thrown at debt or saved and used next summer when expensive holidays and day trips are all the rage.

If people want to PM me their aim I start a list of people doing this challenge, as starter of the thread I am aiming for the full £3000!!!

What counts as extra money?

The idea is to generate more income of top of what you would have ususally. So don't include your wages, benefits, tax credits etc.... add up all the extras you make off your own back.

How can I make extra money?

This is a list of possibly avenues to explore:
  • 2nd job or overtime/extra hours at work
  • Ebay
  • Amazon
  • Daily clicks
  • Cashback sites e.g. quidco, greasy palm, topcashback etc...
  • Piggy vouchers
  • Earnings from survey sites and consumer research
  • saving your coppers (see mumzyof2's sealed pot challenge)
  • AQA
  • Competitions
This list is not exhaustive, there are loads of ways to get more cash.

Think it sounds too hard?

Please see my sig. I joined the £1000 in 4 months challenge, pledging the lowest aim of £500. Never in all my freams did I think that I would nearly have doubled that aim and be on course for £1000! it really is amazing how much you can make if you try.

Anyway, I really hope a few of you want to join. If you want to PM me a aim I will make a list. Please add this challenge to your sig (e.g. £....../£3000) in order to keep your totals going.

I really hope some of you will join me and give it a try.

THE CHALLENGE STARTS JANUARY 1ST!

Hi chloe - good luck with this challenge - I've set myself a personal challenge of £3,000 a year doing similar things to yourself :D
  • Findingmyownway - I never thought it was possible but it really is if you pull out all the stops. Imagine having that extra cash on the hip to through at debts? Whoopee!!!

  • hey,

would love to join but I think this one is a bit high for me
(due to long term illness I didn't finish uni so AQA is out, and due to that as well a second job just wouldn't be worth risking health over)
so I'll keep my eyes peeled for a challenge for a lower amount!!

    thanks though xxx
