Seems to be the same sort of deal as the recent Disney cars book offer - get the decoration free but need to send back the trial decoration to make sure you don't get charged anything.

Avoid Grolier - just try typing in their name into the web "grolier problem" or "grolier complaint" to see all the complaints and problems. They were featured on Watchdog a few years ago - no matter what free stuff they offer - it is not worth it0

Thanks for telling me - I'm going to high tail it down to the post office to send them back a couple of books now. Fingers crossed they don't cause me any problems.:A :A :A :A

what a joke, just done some research on them and it appears that even sending the goods back might not work, as they tend to lie and say they did not receive them, even when you got proof of postage! i'm not sure what to do now!0

Well i posted it back along with a nice letter and the printed page stating the offer - highlighting the fact that returning it puts me under no obligation.
A quick referral to the ombudsman methinks if the try anything!
(I found a similat threat of referral to Energywatch recently focused the mind of my old electricity company!):A :A :A :A
