Urgent- how to stop a running nose?

Hi- is there any way I can stop my nose from running, just for a couple of hours?
I am full of the cold, but have a series of tests to sit later today at work (10 a.m.) as a test procedure for suitability for promotion. There will be a gorup of around 10 of us doing written psychometric tests, and I don't want to sit sniffing and blowing my nose for the 2 and a half hour duration.
Many thanks to anyone who can help.

Pharmacist at the chemists will be able to help - something along the lines of hayfever remedy daft as it sounds. It stops streaming eyes and runny noses in summer time. Make sure whatever they recommend is non-drowsy though.
Good Luck with your test.
You cannot live as I have lived an not end up like me.

I left home at 07:30 so just missed the posts-but I did take an antihistamine , it was all I could think of , and it seemed to help for a few hours.
The tests went OK- but these things can leave you wondering whether you weren't up to scratch, or whether they asre designed not to be finished in the allocated time- no -one seemed to finish them all,so I'm hopefully in with a shout- albeit a little hoarse.
Thanks for the replies.:TMember of the first Mortgage Free in 3 challenge, no.19
