Any ladies who have stopped taking the pill?

I've been taking the pill for about a year, Microgynon for the first 3 months and Diannette since. Its made my periods much better but it seems to have increased my bust size rather a lot. My rather embarrassing question is, when I stop taking the pill will my bust stay this size or shrink back? I'm scared of being left with saggy skin. Any wisdom given is much appreciated!:embarasse
Also, has any found any cheap alternative methods of dealing with period pain?

Ibuprofen is great for period pain but take them a day before then continue for as long as you need they also reduce the bleed.I came off the pill over 2 years ago and my bust has stayed the same.0

Thankyou, thats great. I went from a big 32a to a small 32c and am terrified of being left with something resembling spaniels ears when I come off the pill! And anything that reduces the bleeding aswell as the pain sounds good

Hi, most ladies go back to normal size after coming off it-that is if the pill has affected boob size (i was unlucky and stayed the same/weight didnt go up or down either so cant complain!)
If you suffer with really painfull periods id ask your doctor about mefenamic acid tablets-i take these and they have really helped. Otherwise ibruprofen is the best to use, paracetamol does nothing for my period pains! Oh mefenamic acid can help make your periods lighter too, you'll have to ask your doctor how many tablets to take and when etc.
Good luck, i came off the pill over a year ago now and have felt better then id originaly expected (before going on pill my periods were all over the place, heavy, painfull etc but now things have calmed down.)

According to what a doctor told me about 6 years ago, Ibuprofen can make your period heavier, and last longer. Least this is what she told me.
However I use Ibuprofen anyway since it seems to work the best for me. I actually now take nurofen plus, which is the normal dose of Ibuprofen with codeine. So if you suffer bad pain this could be worth trying rather than just Ibuprofen alone if its not enough.
Yes its more expensive than Ibuprofen on its own, but the benefits for me out weigh the price.0 -
I was on microgynon for years, when I finally stopped it took 18 months to get my periods back to normal.
12 months on my weight has gone down to a nice size 12 waist, and 16 top. Prior to this I was an 18 waist and somewhere around a 20 top so my boobs did shrink! I dont have saggy skin though, nice normal firm boobs (so says my OH!!!)0 -
Where was I when the boob-boosts were handed out?!
I was on marvelon for 12 years... O/H says I got a bit bigger up top, but I still can't fill an A cup snugly!
And now I'm off it...My TV is broken!
Edit: refunded £515 for TV 1.5 years out of warranty - thank you Sale of Goods Act! :j0 -

That is not a massive increase, and could have been due to a small increase in weight, or just normal body changes. I wouldn't worry xGone ... or have I?0
