12 Twelve Days Of Christmas Box Ideas.

Hello, have just found out about the idea of doing a box of treats for the 12 days of Christmas. Basically, this involves filling a box with treats connected to the song.
For the first day I will use a can of pears, the 2nd day some dove soap, 3rd chicken soup. Do you get the idea?
But am stuck on the 4th day, (calling birds), 10 day, (lords a leaping) and the 11th day (pipers piping). Would love to give this to my Mom, so if anyone has any ideas they would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

calling birds - phone top up? (if she has a mobile) or a phone card?

What age range is she? Does she enjoy novelty gifts? (Example: My sister in law qualified as a doctor last year so we got her a kids doctors set as part of a joke present)

phone top up is a great idea for 'calling birds'

for day 10, lords a leaping, how about a dvd - a musical with some dancing; all my family love the old musicals like white christmas and the fred astaire films but there are lots of more modern ones, or Andew Lloyd Weber, Riverdance or Lord of the Dance, if that sort of thing appeals?

and maybe a music cd for day 11, pipers piping? I wouldnt take the pipers bit too literally although a pipe could be a trumpet or sax or flute if you wanted so almost anything with an orchestral backing would do, or classical, jazz, folk?

    ;)
... don't throw the string away. You always need string! :D

    Hi

I am doing this as it was mentioned on organizedchristmas.com. If you google it there are a few sites that have got ideas and messages etc that you can attach to each gift! Depending on the mesage you adjust the gift accordingly 5 gold rings translates nicely to Pineapple rings but on day 10 I'm giving muscle rub as this was a suggestion after the lords had done all their leaping!! Mine is for my mum so I have adapted a couple of things from the websites I found!

Sorry if this sound a bit dumb but is the first day of Christmas Christmas Day? Or is it the twelve days leading up to Christmas Day? Love this idea but wouldn't know when it starts!

    Thanks

I am doing this box idea but starting it 12 days before Christmas so my mum has something to open everyday then we will see her on Boxing Day anyway!
