Emergency Boredom Survival Kit

I would like to make a box covered with red paper and clear plastic to look a bit like a fire alarm and write *open in case of boredom* (i read someones idea on here but cant find where, thanks to the op for the idea tho)

jam you can get these on ebay/£ shops... they are everywhere but obviously if you get a more expensive one it will prob last longer... as for his hamper ~

* portable game thingie/plug in and play (cheap ish)
* oragami or such book

ISTR, Argos do these under "Life Aids", but I also STR that they might be expensive. Why not get him one of those long retriever tools for rescuing screws, etc. whilst working on the car or other DIY - cheaper and more useful afterwards.The acquisition of wealth is no longer the driving force in my life.
