Gamers Hamper

Hi my hubby is the one I hate to buy for - because he isnt that fussy by presents!!! However he is a games programmer and loves playing games ie. gamecube, xbox360 and nintendo ds. I was thinking a hamper would be great - but he is a serious gamer....so I dont want to make silly amateur mistakes!!! Is there any gamers out there that can help? His fav. games are Zelda, think there is a new one out soon which I could put in the hamper. Also he always gets a bag of licorice when he gets a big new game - to help concentrate! Any ideas would be welcome! Also something fuky to hold it all in, that he could use again, not just a box! Sorry if I am askingtoo much!:p

    You can often buy storage boxes designed for holding computer games which might do as a hamper base for you. If he has a portable system then a travel case for it or screen protectors?

  • hi pooh ~ this all depends on what he has :confused:

    * magazine subscriptions
    * games tower
    * games/vouchers
    * zelda phantom hour glass walkthrough/guide (if thats the game you are buying)
    * xbox360 online menbership/points
    * gadgets ~ ie keyboard for x360/mamory cards/controlers
    * drinks/sweets
    * memorabilia ~ ie tshirts/keyrings
    * decals for his x360/gamecube

    For a basket i would use the games tower or a nice basket which he can then use to store all his controlers/accessories

  • Hi,
    Can't think of much to add to postingalwaysposting's list apart from maybe some red bull! How about a joke gift one of those hats that will hold a couple of drinks and have straws going straight to your mouth? :D

  • For those of you who like extreme sports, this might interest you. Red Bull sponsors a line up of motocross, BMX, and skateboarders. Like Ryan Sheckler, Travis Pastrana (from Maryland), Justin Homan, and many more. Red Bull teamed up with New Era and made a 59Fifty Red Bull fitted. These hats were only given out to sponsored athletes.
