I'm really pleased with todays bargains.

Today I went into one of my local charity shops and I managed to get 3 round baskets, a pack of 6 large bath bombs, a funky blue stripe, square, candle and a small fold out photo frame, all for just £1.55.
Also my daughter wants to do some fundraising for children in need and I managed to find a gorgeous, cute, brand new teddy for £1. This will be one of the prizes she can use.

I then went into the local hardware store as I saw sample size packs of 'ecover' in the window, so I asked how much they were...and they were giving them away. I would have been prepared to pay for it too! This will be great to go in my friends eco/organic hamper.

for anyone who wants cheap toiletries to go in their baskets, try Poundland. In Sheffield today they had a full range of Simple products all a pound each!!! Very good value!!
You're so very special, I wish I was special

Kisto, which charity shops do you go in? I never find anything that cheap!

The charity shops I have in my town are Red Cross Shop, North Devon Hospice and a local animal charity. The Red Cross shop is the best and where I get most of my bargains. I'm lucky because it's a small town, so the prices aren't hiked up too much. I go in each shop, several times a week (there's little else to occupy myself here in deepest rural North Devon!!!), so I get to nab the bargains quickly.

My brother lives in Edinburgh and the charity shops there are so much more expensive.

That explains it then, I'm in Manchester and I never see things that cheap, but I will keep my eyes peeled for a red cross shop now. Thanks
