Hi everyone i have been reading these posts for ages and have got so many tips I had to register and thank you all! I am 20 and have a little boy 10 months and i live with my boyfriend-we both work.
Basically I have started my christmas shopping early and have alot done so far I even made a nice Italian hamper last night.
Now I normally buy presents for my dad (£30) My step Mum (£30) My brother, and two sisters (£15 each) and £20 on my little brother all equalling £125 This year I was thinking about doing a theatre hamper as a fmaily gift and booking them all a ticket to see shane richie in scrooge at the palace theatre on boxing day- I will also be going with my son and boyfriend. the tickets will add up to £70, has anybody got ideas of what else i can put in? And do you think this would be a nice hamper- My dad is oneof those people who has everything-Is quite well off so normally i buy him aftershave but to be honest he never really needs anything and if he wants it, it is well above my price range! I am just concered him and my step mum may think this is just a present for the kids? My brothers are aged 15 and 18 months and my sisters 17 and 11 thanks so much

A CD of the Scrooge-The-Musical soundtrack, and an old-fashioned nightcap?0
-
Oooh the soundtrack idea is good, does anybody have anymore ideas?0

what about finding some toy binoculars/ long gloves? to show the whole posh theatre thing? and also what about some old fashioned popcorn boxes with either sweeties in or vouchers to say "I'll spend £x on food at the theatre"?
It sounds like a lovely gift0 -
Carrying on with the scrooge theme (I think the night cap is a great idea!), dribbly candles, chocolate money and copy of the muppets Christmas Carol on DVD (I love that film!):staradmin:starmod: beware of geeks bearing .gifs...:starmod::staradmin:starmod: Whoever said "nothing is impossible" obviously never tried to nail jelly to a tree :starmod:0

If you're after long white gloves for the theatre theme, how about a feather boa too?....they are both in poundland at the moment.0

How about these.......................soundtrack of scrooge................................the dribbly candles - you can make these yourself (melt down a candle and pour it over adn unused candle making sur eto keep hold of the wick and not burn finger) ..........................................also what about making little bags (liek scrooges purse) and putting in soem chocloate coins for the younger ones, or a few pound coins for adults (this could be the theatre food money!)........................................scrooge type round glasses...................................how abotu a copy of the charles dickens book or maybe it on tape so you could all sit around and listen togehter (very old fashioned but nice)...............................bag of bah humbugs! lol#just a few ideas for youMaking Changes To Save My LifeCurrent weightloss - 2lbs (week 1)0
