Work in a care home? Boots discount

Did a quick search and couldn't find this anywhere, so sorry if it's a repost!

Was in Boots the other day and overheard a conversation between a customer and a SA. Basically, if you work in a care home, the home in question can apply for a discount card which will give the staff that work there 10% off!

There was a list of conditions that applied to it. These are the ones I managed to make out:

Can only be used by staff of the care home, not their families.

Only one discount card will be issued per home and it is the care home managers discretion as to who has the discount card at any one time.

Can only be used instore.

Cannot be used in conjuction with any other offer and she specifically stated 3 for 2's, bogof's etc.

The care home does not need to use Boots to get their medication from.

Use must take the card to get the discount. No card - No discount

There were others but I couldn't hear them, sorry!

The SA then went on to ask here a couple of questions which she typed into the computer and said the card would probably take about 6 weeks.

Might be useful if somebody is thinking about making a big purchase, such as some electrical stuff etc. Obviously cannot be used with the current 3 for 2 on xmas, but hopefully somebody will benefit.
