What's the deal?
This month’s Prima magazine has a voucher for a free Dollond & Aitchison a eye test, usually priced at £27.50. The mag also includes a plethora off special offer coupons, including a possible £5 off your supermarket shopping.
How to grab the free eye test
To claim the free test, visit pick up the November’s Prima mag. The voucher is inside the separate “Christmas chequebook” special offer booklet (fifth voucher in).
Then give Dollond & Aitchison a call on 0800 783 9081 to arrange an examination, before 31 March 08. It's worth mentioning you have this voucher when booking the appointment, plus remember you MUST take it with you.
You don't have to buy glasses from D&A
D&A's offering this freebie as it hopes you'll buy specs or lenses from it if you need them, but this isn't a prerequisite. Before parting with your cash, read both my Glasses Buying and Contact Lens cost cutting articles to help slash the amount you pay.
How to grab £5 off your supermarket shopping
The special offer booklet also includes several special offer coupons, which together could save you £5.50 off your grocery shopping. The way this works is that some supermarkets accept coupons for products they’re not designed for e.g. a voucher for 50p off Ambi Pur air freshener could get you 50p off any shopping, not just the air freshener.
Supermarkets’ policies vary here – for a full guide to how this works, see the Supermarket Shopping article.
Bonus special offers
