Ideas Needed - Please Help

My 10 y.o. daughter loves this site. She absolutely loves all the baskets people have made and has said she would like one instead of a stocking at Christmas. I'm really stuck as to what to fill it with. Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

    Hi JLW

Is there a particular "thing" that your daughter is into. Ie my niece loves horseriding and so I have made her a horsey themed hamper, horsey pyjamas, book, stickers, mug, chocolate from thorntons, and a few other bits n bobs.
My other niece is into fairies so hers is everything fairyish.

Try to think of a particular subject that your daughter loves and take it from there, it could be her favourite colours - ie pink or whatever it is - so you buy things that are pink or she could be into films - so you could do her a movie night hamper with a couple of films in - some popcorn and nibbles etc

If you think of something you know she loves - let us know and I am sure that together we can come up with some wonderful ideas for your daughters hamper.

There are some great people on this forum with brilliant ideas

Remember to make it fun - you dont have to go out and buy every item to fill it in one go - just have some ideas in your head and watch out for things wherever you go out shopping. I went to the cinema the other day at the Lowry centre and when we got to the top of the escalator inside the lowry on our way to the cinema entrance I noticed a shop selling all crafty bits and in there I bought loads of fairy stickers, horsey stickers and other bits n pieces that have filled my nieces hampers up lovely, and I had no intention when I left that evening to buy anything it was purely to go to the cinema.

best of luck with it all -keep us posted
