Not sure on good models but Tesco have "bargain bins" in their home phone isle where discounted home phones/dvd's/cameras sometimes can be found.
Anything up to £30 off the prices sometimes. Smile, you only get one life, LIVE IT.0 -

I bought these from argos 8 months ago and they have been a very good basic set with very clear reception. I say basic but they have got everything you need apart from colour screen.

Hello chocolatepennyfarthing,
You should check out B&Q. I saw a range of cordless phone in there for £10 and £20. I think they are clearing them out.
There was the I-Dect X1, X1 Twin, X1i Twin (with Answering Machine), X2, X2i Twin and X2i (with Answering Machine) all at £20 a set, plus others at £10.
This is the X2i Twin set, £59.95 in Argos

I was just going to post this! Have been looking myself, but can't find much in the Midlands. Anyone seen much choice with these? Only one or two left in our local stores.0 -
