50th Birthday nostalgia ideas please!!

My Mam is 50 soon and i wanted to do a basket of nostalgic things But I've come to a dead end before I've begun.

I'm 22 and I've only really heard her mention Donny Osmond and spangles! ha ha i really havent a clue!


Any suggestions would be welcome

    I was 50 a few months ago & stopped in with a box of chocs & Daniel Craig DVD. Sod nostalgia, I want to be 25 again.

    What about music from the 50's and 60's as that was when she would of been growing up.

    Retro sweets.

    Check out Ebay for annuals from around when she was born.

    50 mug - You could handpaint her one.

    Find some old pics and make up a little album - maybe ask fmaily and friends to send you old photo's - maybe with little notes attatched.

    Old films from that era.

    lol, when I was 50 daughter gave me a ten pin bowling party great fun.:j
    I think if I'd had a nostalgia gift I'd have ended up feeling old and in tears:rotfl:
