Guinness, soda farls, potatoes, irish stew, irish whisky, white pudding, irish cheese are just a few items that spring to mind for food and drink0

SOme of the things on the Baileys website are free and they do not all contain alcohol, there are books etc., maybe give that a try. Irish linen hankies and lace tablecloths I have found all mine at charity shops. What about a Maeve Binchy book or any other Irish writer? Again look for a nice clean copy at a charity shop or car boot etc., Guiness stuff can be the tea towels etc keep trying the website for freebies as they have just had an offer on althought that was for Rugby related items!!
Your Gran can probably cook better than most of us, but an Irish recipe cook book,as she might just like to look trhough it, again look on websites for Irish food as they often have free recipe leaflet, booklets etc.
Good luck will keep thinking for you!!0 -

Could you maybe buy an Irish tea-towel? Do you have any photos of your nan actually in Ireland? If you do, you could put it in a nice photo frame - maybe even an Irish-themed frame?

A Galway Shawl?
What music does she like? You can pick up cheap cassettes/CD's of her favorite Irish tunes/songs/comedian in markets etc.
Or better still play her these: You tube - Dubliners and You tube - Blooming Heather singing Galway Shawl! Galway Bay - song and pics - You Tube. (I just had three playing at once, perhaps that's too much! :rotfl:Torgwen.....................

punjana teabags, Tayto crisps (not sure if thats allowed for diabetics), soda/potato farls, personally i would avoid leprechaun stuff as its a bit stereotyped.
if you want maybe 1 expensive piece perhaps a bit of Waterford or Tyrone crystal? or Beleek (china? i think)Wiggly:heartpulsFB0
