Money Dilema?!

Options
I have just been browing on Ebay and I noticed that a Madonna concert jacket sold for £510. I have one of these jackets and not sure whether to list it and try to make some money.

I had wanted one of these jackets for 15 years and was so happy when I found one on ebay, even though it cost £120. :j

I am really unsure of what to do as I know that a few hundered pounds would be very useful but I also don't want to get rid of the jacket and then really regret it.

Please help me as I am strugling with this on my own. :o

Ps. I know I am sad!!!!!!:rotfl:

If you really need the cash then you should sell any assets that arent going to be any real use to you. But if you believe that the jacket is worth more than any amount of money then keep it.

    Personally I would sell.

  • I'd sell it as that's a lot of money you have sitting there for the taking. Only keep it if you can't live without it.

I know what you mean BTW- I sold some Monty Python video cover designs (more interesting than they sound!) on eBay and I ended up keeping one as I couldn't part with them all.

Oh saver03 - you see I would keep it as I understand how much this jacket means to you. But I'm not in the same situation as yourself so like the others have said maybe you should sell.

Ask yourself - can you survive without selling it?

depends on how much you need the money, are you really struggling. put it this way, would you rather a jacket that sits the the cupboard all the time you hardly wear or £500 off your debt.
i will be debt free, i will

You have my sympathy but only you can decide if it is something you can live without.

It is tricky and if it is any consolation, prior to my LBM OH and I booked a treat for our Wedding Anniversary, as I write the treat is up for sale on EBAY!

If it does not sell we are going and will enjoy it, if it does sell it will pay back the credit card that paid for it in the first place.

This treat would be wonderful but we realise (now), not more wonderful than getting debt free. How priorities change!

Good luck, I will watch and see how you get on.

I am a huge madonna fan, think she's one of the greatest but ,yes there is a but my friend went to see her and said she was awful. Back in July 2006. SO I am now so pleased I didn't got with her at the time ( 40 weeks pregnant then ).

So I would sell it and clear some debt

  • If you decide to sell, then put a reserve on it that you would be happy to let it go at, even if that reserve is high. Then if it doesn't sell, the decision is made for you and you can look upon it as an omen to keep it! I'm !!!! at making dilemma decisions like this and end up doing something like the above just to make it easier
