Business account - bad credit :(

Hi folks.
Great to be amongst like minded folks and what a site for support!
My question is, if anyone can help?!
I would like to open a business account but still have bad credit rating through CC debt. Those debts were settled in Feb 07. I went to my bank this morning again to see if they could try again to open a business account but again the 'computer said no'.........:mad::mad:
Can anyone advise me of what banks I should talk to in opening an account as clearly HSBC do not want to know. I have several thousand pound to deposit and I would use the account as a cash account.
Any advice very much appreciated as I am rather frustrated by this
