Hi all,
I don't post much but I lurk a lot. I just found this offer on the Jamie Oliver website. There's an offer for a free copy of Grow Your Own magazine - might be useful Old Style Moneysavers
You have to call up and quote the code. There is also an offer for 3 monthly issues for £1, but you need to give details for direct debit (it's one of those sign up and cancel later deals). However if you just want the one free magazine you don't have to provide bank details.

I personally went for the £1 deal but I'd been thinking about subscribing anyway.

called for my copy said I would recieve the latest copy within 28 days to avoid subscibing I just say I don't give card details over the phone stops any hard sell0

You do not have to sign up for anything if you just want the one free magazine. Sorry if that wasn't clear in my OP. However, they probably will ask you on the phone if you want to sign up for the £1 deal (3 months for £1) but if you just want the free magazine (1 issue) just say no, and there's no need to hand over any details (other than the address you want them to post the magazine to). FWIW, they didn't give me the "hard sell".
Anyway, I hope this helps some MoneySavers. OH and I have started growing our own veg so hopefully the mag will have some advice for us cityslickers.0 -
