"Where did the river go? is a limited edition storybook commissioned by learndirect for children aged between 5-9. There are only 100,000 available, and we’re giving them away free, so you will have to be quick to get your hands on a copy.
The book was written by Peter Corey, who has written numerous books, TV shows and plays. If you were to meet him, you might also recognise him from TV programmes such as One Foot in the Grave and The Bill.
All illustrations are by Charlotte Firmin, and the book is supported by Eamonn Holmes and Ruth Langsford.

I picked up a copy of this book for my 5 year old, it comes in a special paper carrier bag with a bookmark & poster & the story is good too as it involves a lot of interaction with the child.0

Sorry deefin, I have to admit I didn't search before I posted it. I read about it in the paper and forgot about it till I saw it posted on a different freebie site (free and easy I think it was) and I copied it. I guess they stole your wording from here and I duplicated it.My bad....
