It could be your hormones or an intolerence to wheat or something else. it could also be I.B.S. which can start off with stress or food posioning

Do you have any other symptoms?

did have years ago the beginning of what seemed to be irritable bowel syndrome but not had this since. bloating is the main thing. was a bit constipated a couple of days ago but hope this has now cleared. otherwise have a healthy diet. usually swim twice a week though have not as yet this week.welshgirlmel wrote: »It could be your hormones or an intolerence to wheat or something else. it could also be I.B.S. which can start off with stress or food posioning

Sorry to hear about your miscarriage. I had one too recently and it can play havoc with your hormones.2008 Comping ChallengeWon so far - £3010 Needed - £230Debt free since Oct 20040

It's very unlikelyyou have a wheat allergy, your bloating is probably caused by stress. Even if you don't feel stressed your body has been through a lot lately. Try to relax, drink more water and things should soon settle. Multivitiamins don't cause bloating.0

I have a similar problem. Try a probiotic vitamin or natural live yogurt to help digestion. Aloe vera tablets/tonic is also good for this, drink plenty of fluids, gentle exercise - e.g. walking also aids digestion so I am sure your swimming will help.
Maybe the stress of the miscarriage has triggered an I.B.S. episode. Two years ago my father had a heart attack, and I had problems with work as well as other health issues. This started my I.B.S. and I keep it controlled by avoiding certain food and other interventions as mentioned above. The tablets that the dr prescribed were crap. It may not be this but If you need more info p.m. me
Hope you feel better soon
