Alton Towers 1 Day Entry Token - £8 Per Adult w/ Tesco Clubcard Vouchers!

What's the deal?

Use a Tesco clubcard in store and you'll get 1 point per £1 spent. However never, ever, ever, ever redeem them in store. Instead use them for Tesco deals and they will be worth four times the amount. One of the current deals available is for Alton Towers tickets.

£8 in clubcard deals = £32 worth of Alton Towers tickets (1 adult price).

How to get your deals voucher

Simply go to the Tesco Clubcard site, choose the Alton Towers voucher and add it to your basket. You'll then need to enter your clubcard voucher number into the box and your Alton Towers voucher will be send to you.

£8 in Tesco Clubcard vouchers grants you 1 day's entrance to Alton Towers. Normal price on the door is £32 or £24 if booked online.

I just bought two tokens for £16, going later in the week!

This deal works out cheaper than using the buy one get one free vouchers.

They deliver the entrance tokens to you, and normally dispatch the tokens within one working day.

There are always loads of BOGOF deals aroud for AT , so you have to weigh up is it worth paying £16 cash or £32 in deals towards something else.
  • Could someone please clarify...

Planning a trip to Alton Towers during the 1st week in Aug. There about 20 of us going. The cheapest price per person works out to be £16/person using the BOGOF vouchers (can print them from the sky website).

Now, will the Tesco deal work out cheaper?
How much needs to be spent at Tesco to get 1 ticket?
I'm not sure how the Clubcard points work.

    Thanks

Sorry Martin, but under your own forum rules does this class as a "grabbit" - tescos deals have been about for ages !!
  • I'm still a little confused... how much needs to be spent in order to get £8 worth of club card vouchers (i.e. one ticket)

Unusual post for you Martin - surely not the best value from clubcard points:

    choice:
use £8 of points for a ticket that would cost £16 with a buy-one-get-one-free voucher or half price voucher (loads floating around at the moment)

or use your £8 of points for £32 of deals

2x value versus 4x value.....know which one I'll be picking!!

What is GREAT value though is the £23 of clubcard points for an annual pass to Tussauds - we've only had ours a month and already used them 4 times.

unless you have tons of clubcard points, this wont be an option anyway.
I would imaging the BOGOF will work out cheapest for you.
