Karcher pressure washer £15

Just bought a pressure washer from Karcher for £15.
Apparantly they are selling off loads of them and moving away from the domestic market to concentrate on the industrial market.
Was told this by the staff themselves. This is a result of competition from the big orange stores. Karcher can't compete.
Anyway, the £15 washers are the green reconditioned washers with Karcher parts inside. They give you a warranty of about a week..thats all.
Limited stocks...when they are gone they are gone.
If you want a yellow one, they are about £50.
Try your local Karchers and see what they got. I'm not sure if its a local thing or national.
Keep an eye on it and you might get other stuff sold off too.
The green one I got is in b&q at the moment for £40.

No website. You have to go to your nearest Karcher outlet to get the washer. Nearest for me is whitehill ind.estate in stockport. They had 200 to get rid of at our local branch. Last I heard , they only had 10 left.
Had mine out again today, its small but really good. I use it just for the car.
I said reconditioned, but it has a new green body, and new hose etc etc, so it looks brand new.If only everything in life was as reliable...AS ME !!

Yeah! But I bet he doesn't mention that it's GREEN !0 -
I rang a local Karcher stockist this morning & what seemed like a pretty knowledgeable chap explained they wouldn't sell these to their customers (domestic green ones), apparentley had lots of problems. They bought some at xmas to giveaway Free as a promotion. Well, he put me off anyway :think:0

How do you mean promotion... buy a good washer and get a crap one free ??
Like I said, they have similar ones in b&q for £44.95(yellow) with a warranty (if you keep your receipt).
Not sure if this sell off is national or not.
If it stuffs up...all I lost is £15. It costs more to replace the hose on some of these washers. If only everything in life was as reliable...AS ME !!

I agree rubowen, its a bargain, thanks. I'm after one @ £15 if only for the hose which I'd imagine will be compatible with the yellow model. My Karcher is 6 y/o, works fine but hose is burst (drove over it accidentally), B&Q want £30 for a new hose. If anyone spot any for sale in the Glasgow area I would appreciate it if they would post where its on sale.0
