Just got an email from Argos, who are selling This ALBA DVD RECORDER for £99.99. Offer runs until 06/05/05.I haven't been asked to tell you that I'm the [highlight]Board Drunk[/highlight] for this board. As the night wears on, my posts will become worse, with simple spelling mistakes, inane ramblings, and a blatant disregard for the truth. I have no authority to do anything, so there's no point asking or telling me. If you see me past midnight, please tell me to get my coat and order me a taxi.

I haven't seen any reviews for the Argos offering.
ASDA have the 4KUS DVD-230 which has good reviews and is the same price

Ordered the Alba yesterday, went to pick it up in Galashiels store and got a goodmans gdvd301r as a subsitute (currently £149.99) at amazon.co.uk
Set it up in mins and a great machine for the price.0 -
