(Orange) Alcatel E230 in Asda - £10 (merged)

Just seen a cardboard display box of these in my local Asda (Westbrook, Warrington). Doesn't seem to need a top-up when you buy one. I think it's white, and could be a useful back-up phone (my poor old Nokia is going to give up the ghost any day, so I am dithering)

Did they have many in eileenfromplaistow?

Ideal for the kids when they go out.
  • the display stand (by the computer games) was almost full, so I am guessing about 20. Asda seem to be on a rolling promotion on phones, not so long ago they had a Nokia on Virgin for £19, then I think it was T-Mobile.
  • Loasds of this in Basildon Eastgate as well

I bought one of these for my daughter off Orange's site for £10 and got £5 cashback through Quidco. It is a fine, very basic phone and certainly kept her happy!

Had a quick look at Quidco and couldn't find the link to get onto the Orange site.

Thanks! Hopefully they'll still have some at the weekend!

I got one from Asda in Llandudno yesterday evening. Still waiting for the battery to charge. Yes, its white, that seemed to be the only colour available but OK all the same.
  • Theres a surprise- pick it up for £10 at Asda or buy it from ebay for £15!
