Very hard to take advantage of this offer IMO. Only open for 2 days and a lot of Kwik Saves have just closed the doors so no chance of just buying a bag.

I think thats the point of the offer your local quick save has shut and ASDA looking to soak up the latent custom that they have left behind.

I don't think its intended for people to just buy a bag to get some milk and bread. Thus to limit any abuse of the offer restrict the time severely.
I started with nothing and I am proud to say I still have most of it left.

you get 2 pints of milk and any bread, plus an asda bag for life.£1.55 is knocked off your bill,so bread has to be under 79p.you show your bag or receipt to the greeter at door, they give you a coupon with £1.55 to be deducted off the bill.she keeps the bag or receipt.

The offer is at participating stores too...

My local store told my OH that it was not participating in the offer and neither were any of the other "local" asdas...(not that I'd travel to the next down for free bread and milk!!), but It seems pointless paying for a full page ad in a few of the rags if you're only going to be pushing it in a handful of stores...
