NEWSPAPER SUMMARY - Thursday 10th May

Good Morning All,

Thursday 10th May

Please post here if you get any of today's newspapers or have the chance to look through one.
Please tell us if any of them contain coupons or freebies or vouchers OR NOT !

Important details are:
The cost of the newspaper
Whether it's a regional edition
Page number
Expiry date of the voucher
Whether it's store specific and has a barcode

Remember if you go shopping look in as many newspapers as you can.
Post even if you don't see any coupons, and mention any offers that you see.

Below you'll find a list of the abbreviations and how to interpret them.

MOC - Money Off Coupon
Bc - Barcode, good chance of universal scan
bc - only selected stores scan
Xwrd - Crossword
PUZ - Puzzle
T#3 - Token 3
T2collect - Token 2 Collect (generally you have to collect numerous tokens to get the offer)

    This is a non standard barcode, i.e. it does NOT start with '99'

    Complete barcode is 32750904, to see the value of normal barcodes you take the last 4 digits, in this case 0904, discard the last number (4 in this barcode) and the remaining 3 digits give the value in pence (in this case it would give a value of 90p if this was a standard barcode).

    This will almost certainly NOT scan at Tescos, it only is of any use to get £5 off a £10 or more book at WH Smiths as stated in my original post.

    Expiry date is 3/06/07

    Daily Mail WHSmith offer is £5 off £10 or more on any book...one book only...valid from now until June 3rd 2007, one voucher per transaction, not in conjunction with any other offer.
