Going organic

I am slowly being pursuaded that going organic worth spending the extra money on.

I am going to (attempt!) to grow all of my own veg and I want to buy a apple and blackberry tree/ bushes for some fruit.

Main thing that leaves me with is meat. It is written into the deeds of my house that I am not allowed to keep pigs or chicken and anyway the garden is far to small and I'm not sure I could manage to eat poor little clucky after she stops laying eggs

So, where is the best place to buy value organic produce? I want it to be cheap but I don't want it to have an organic label but not really be organic.

Thanks for voting everyone. Looks like farmers markets are coming out best but how do I find out where the best farmers market is near me?

My quest for this weekend is to find one and to go :) (I've never been to one :o ).
