Hi all,

Grattan the catalogue company are offering a free mini tv/radio with all first orders with no apparent minimum spend. It only black and white but not a bad little freebie.

junk email? surely you can opt not to be contacted by third parties? so what is the cheapest thing they have and how much is p+p?

Its junk snail mail i get bomarded with and yes i know you can get it stopped.

The order i made didnt suit so i just sent it back and they were fine so technically didnt cost a penny

did they ask for the free gift back?, I'v just ordered some socks (£10!!), just wondering if they might ask for the gift as well when i give it back.

I ordered the mis-priced Sonic toothbrushes from Grattan a while back to also take advantage of the free gift - I wanted the smoothy maker. Neither have so far arrived. However the first junk mail I got from them offered a gift from a selection for ordering, so I choose a £4 item and hoped for the DeLonghi toaster but surprise, surprise got the cheapo kettle! Still hoping for smoothy maker and a picnic set that should be sent as I used a code from another forum, so if they arrive I will be well pleased - sonic replacement heads will be going back though!

Go for it, you have got nothing to loose, just recycle the junk mail.

I think the "free with all first orders today" is a bit misleading as the offer has been there for several days now...and no doubt will be until they think of something else to act as an incentive to part you from your money :rolleyes:

No the free gift is yours to keep even if you send the order back

Hi all,
I just placed my first order at Grattons and the link said I would get a free Kenwood Smoothie Maker. I couldn't see anything refering to that effect when I placed my order. Do u think it is likely I will actually get the smoothie maker ?
My order was for 3.99 if that will make any difference !
