daily mail today has a coupon to fill in and send to them to register objection to councils abandoning weekly rubbish collections,:T also you can send off for free stickers
we have our bin emptied once every 2 weeks and in the summer it is terrible, the smell and the flies:eek: being a family of 5 you can imagine how quickly the bin fills up
we are not against recycling and do what we can to seperate cans, bottles, cardboard but we still end up making trips to the tip every week when the dam bin is full
so if you dont agree with the fortnightly bin collections get a copy of the daily mail and back the campaigndont wait for your boat to come in, get in a dingy and row out to it!!!0 -

I don't agree with anything the Daily Mail says!
We have had our bins emptied fortnightly for quite a while now and it is no problem for us (we are a family of 4). I do use reusable nappies, recycle everything I possibly can, buy things with little packaging and I always make sure the bin lid is closed properly so that flies can't get in.

i'm in on this one.
definately.
We have 5 in our family and this means by week 1 our black bin is full. i actually get my OH to stand in the bin and jump up and down to compact it down a bit to fit more in, but by the time its black bin day again i end up with 5 or more black bags full next to the bin which i put in other peoples bins on bin day if there is room.
I take all glass to botle bank and fill my blue bin to bursting every time. i think i need two bins:heart2::heartpuls:heart2: I WOULD NOT CHANGE MY AUTISTIC DAUGHTER FOR THE WORLD
