Neighbouring beaches feature world class surfing, deep sea fishing, swimming, diving and snorkeling and all come with fabulous sunsets included! The little town of Junquillal (pronounced “Honkey-al”!) offers a handful of truly laid back restaurants and bars. Activities include horse back riding both in the hills and on the beaches, whilst the beautiful estuary abounds with wildlife and can be explored by kayak. Nearby golf facilities are superb and there’s a day spa with massage and treatment centre. Other facilities include yoga and aerobics sessions, cycling and ATV tours and of course the all important surfing! Most of all, however, Playa Junquillal is a place to simply relax. Use it as a base to explore the region, hang out with the monkeys and the parrots and chill out every evening as the sun sinks into the sea.
