awake out of a coma OMG !!!!!!!!!!!

Anyone see the documentry on discovery tonight.

repeated again on saturday

a company listed on the stock market as regen therapeutics RGT have tested and are to make available a drug called zolpidem

it actually brings a patient out of a coma, even if they have been in a coma for a number of years

then it regenerates the brain ..... this company could be worth billions yet there share price is just a penny or so.

could give hope to many victims, the company also have cures pending for other conditions.

i saw the trailer for this & want to see it, but i don't have the discovery channel unfortunately.

it's weird how this works because zolpidem is a sleeping tablet! fantastic if it can do this too, but still very odd!
  • I heard about that one a few weeks ago...they also said that when the person awakes there is no guarantee they wont be a vegetable for the rest of their lives...

Don't see how it can be worth billions for them when it's a common sleeping drug, that appears to be out of patent. Surely other companies could request a license to use it for the same purpose?

think they are altering the drug for other uses also

a patent would then be in place for that drug, dont forget the drug needs to be retaken
