Options
It's my mum's birthday tomorrow and to save on outgoings I made her a card, it was actually quite a lot of fun! After half an hour with a prit stick and a copy of what hifi I finished my masterpiece:

To be honest I think she'll laugh, give it me back and say, "No, come on son, give me my real card!" and then be a little disappointed, but hey it's cheaper than buying one!

And I get to blag dinner back at the folks tomorow

Any ideas for (morally) getting together a free bunch of flowers?! :o

Ummmm ... pick them from either your own garden or someone whom you've asked .... else it's morally wrong!!

Or go and chat up a florist and give her / him a sob story!!! You never know it might work if you go in at the end of the day.

BTW this woman gave birth to you .... you're either a) very skint (in which case Mum won't want anything that costs) or b) a tight git!

I daren't go in our garden, it's has been taken over by cats. And big ones at that!

Of course the other way of looking at it is I spent half an hour working on it instead of picking up a random card in asda before popping round. My mum also thinks that my occasional tight-gittedness is one of the most endearing things about me so it'll make her smile every time she sees the card ;)
