Good Morning All,
Thursday 1st February
Please post here if you get any of today's newspapers or have the chance to look through one - tell us if there are any coupons in or not.
Important details are:
The cost of the newspaper
Whether it's a regional edition
Page number
Expiry date of the voucher
Whether it's store specific and has a barcode
Remember if you go shopping look in as many newspapers as you can. Post even if you don't see any coupons, and mention any offers that you see.
Below you'll find a list of the abbreviations and how to interpret them.
MOC - Money Off Coupon
Bc - Barcode, good chance of universal scan
bc - only selected stores scan
Xwrd - Crossword
PUZ - Puzzle
T#3 - Token 3
T2collect - Token 2 Collect (generally you have to collect numerous tokens to get the offer)
Lets hope todays a good one for coupons

at tesco the Quorn Cottage Pie 500g is £2.48 so would be worth buying a

It is an NCH voucher beginning 990 - so can't see it being a problem in Tesco - but who knows.
The Brides magazine coupon from the Daily Mail the other day started 99 but wouldn't work in Tesco. But it does work perfectly in Waitrose - might be worth searching the recycling bins

The Sun Quorn voucher wouldn't work in Tesco for me today. It started with a '99' too. Oh well, I like Quorn things so will get some from Sainsburys.
Has anyone else had any luck with this voucher in tesco?

Thanks Zippy on the way home from the office I grabbed a few copies of the Sun just incase it scanned. I have 4 points vouchers for quorn from the healthy living club so thought I could combine them - never mind.
It has been one of those days, we had a whip around for a pregnant lady and I tried to convince her that the money collected would be best spent in Tescos (the baby clothes in my store are on sale and she could use some vouchers too) but she was having none of it - I tried to grind her down but ended up in Mothercare getting gift vouchers instead LOL
Local regional Welsh paper - Barry and District News
Front page 10% off meals at Da Gennaro Ristorante Italiano in February (excluding valentines day or Fridays and Saturdays).
Page 13 - one page advert for "Buyology" - this company was previously known as "Hyper Value" - 10% off voucher in the paper.
Page 18 have a birthday message for a child printed free of charge
Pages 20 and 21 - 10 competitons to win romantic meals on Valentines Night (definitely worth entering)
Also mention of a car boot sale at Barry Boys on Sunday at 10am

Very new to all this, Can somebody please tell me if I have a coupon from a newspaper can I use it at the till even if I have not bought the product??
Also, I have tried to use the numerous Tesco discount codes posted in the forum and not one of them actually work! Bah!!
