The Information Commissioner's Office have launched a personal information toolkit, which is a step by step guide to help individuals to understand how to protect and manage their personal information.
To order your own toolkit, call 08453 091091 or log on at www.ico.gov.uk.
The Toolkit was printed prior to the ICO being aware of the following, which may have been included.
Equifax's latest. (See Note)

Simple Instructions.
Note: It's good advice from Equifax to obtain to Credit Report prior to using the afore mentioned system.
To ensure database integrity do what Scams Direct advise and send copies of the Equifax letter to Experian & Call Credit (Free of any Charge).
