Can anyone recommend a reasonably priced moisturiser for the face please, one that is especially good fro dry skin?

But you do have to be aware that in order for your skin to be protected from aging it needs OMEGA 3, now it doesn't matter if that comes from fish oil, cod liver oil or flaxseed but you need to consider How can I get more omega 3 fatty acids in my daily meals?: answer

Similarly the vitamin D system in skin may be part of an intrinsic protective mechanism against UV damage and as Healthy men seem to use 3000–5000 IU cholecalciferol/d, common sense tells us that if you consume less that this daily during the Winter (when the main source sunlight isn't available) those cells that require D3 may suffer.

  • Want a great anti ageing treatment and moisturiser in one that lasts ages reduces scars and wrinkles and is in all the most expensive brands of skincare.
Get yourself some Rosehip Oil ( GOOLE it or Rosa Mosqueta) full of Efa's vitamin C Retinol Beta carotene and whats more completely natural.
It the best thing I and my freinds have ever used great on wrinkles excema etc bottle lasts around 8 months £6.99 for 50ml .
Have tried a few brands but this is the cheapeast I have found and is excellent quality organic and cold pressed.

    Shea Butter is also excellent.
Try using Shea Butter its cheap lasts ages 100g and is fantastic on skin plus no water or chemical preservatives so its very concentrated also full of natural vitamins.

The absolute best moisturiser ever (and believe me - I've seen the doctor countless times about my dry skin), is Aqueous Cream.

Cheap as chips (less than £2 for a 500g tub of it from any chemist), and does the job fantastically because it has no soap in. It's also a cleansing agent so when you wash your face - use it instead of your normal facewash and pat your skin dry and you won't need to use a moisturiser because it leaves a thin layer of oil on the surface to stop moisture evaporating off your face which can cause it to dry out.

unfortunately it is a case of trial and error. what works for one person does not work as well for another. even if both have 'dry skin'.

try a few and stick with the one that works

I have used this for years but never ever thought of trying this on my face and now I feel I have to....
