TB Self help Forum??

Does anyone know if there is such a place on the www?
I've done a Google but no help there.
I know that other ailments have their own help websites,eg: Diabetes UK, National Phobics,Thyroid etc: but can't find one for TB.
I want to know more about the disease, particulary in other parts of the body, not chest/lungs.
Would also like to chat online with people experiencing this condition.
Can anyone please point me in the right direction????

Thank you Savvy-Sue.
Yes it was helpful but does mention there isn't a support group/network available at the moment, which I find very surprising, shame I don't have the time or the energy to start one!

I suppose that would be at least partly because the people most often affected are generally 'disadvantaged' in some other way to begin with. So the TB would be an ancillary problem rather than the main one! If that makes sense ...LilacLillie wrote:Yes it was helpful but does mention there isn't a support group/network available at the moment, which I find very surprising, shame I don't have the time or the energy to start one!
Is the British Lung Foundation Breathe Easy support group system of interest? Obviously not restricted to TB sufferers, but they do have some information about TB on their site.
And this is not UK but may be helpful.Signature removed for peace of mind0
