Hamper Baskets

Went into Matalan today and they have got some really nice baskets. They are predominantly white but have coloured interweaving. They are a little bit bigger than a large shoebox and they cost £5.00 each. Just a thought for next christmas.

99p store have some nice baskets, rectangle in shape, are probably about the same size as a shoe box but only about 3 inches deep. They are lined with gingham fabric in a variety of colours including pink lilac and royal blue. They also have some lined with just cream coloured fabric. All lovely, I hope they have some next time I'm in as I want to get some to put away for hampers for neices next christmas.

They have nice ones in Dunnes stores at the moment £5 similar to one I paid £9 in sainsburys for

They have some in Instore, seagrass baskets with a hinged lid. Largest size is £3.50 but they didnt have loads left last time I went in there. I was hoping they would be reduced.

I looked for some baskets today to start on doing some hampers for next Christmas... decided for the teens I am going to do some for... to buy some large cardboard boxes ( like the ones you get in QS for keeping videos in) and then cover them in pictures of the interests that the teens have got.. ie one is in a band so for hers Im covering it in pictures of musical instruments.. and song lyrics. ....might be an idea for others to do as well?
