Crafty Ideas

Would just like to say a huge thanks to everyone whos posted on this web-site. I stumbled across it by accident and I'm hooked....i've been trawling the threads picking up so many tips!!

I'm very good at making things from scratch food wise - but always seems to spend far more then necessary....that will stop now -- I feel so excited at the prospect of saving money!! I've been a recent convert to making cards and always have a gift box on the go! I've just been round and watered down all my shampoos and stuff....such a simple idea!!

I made Heatable Wheat Bags for everyone this xmas after finding the wheat and lavender cheap - £19 for enough to make 10 bags - free delivery...but managed to eek it out to 14 bags of various sizes and they were all well received....even keep a couple in the freezer as ice packs for bumps and brusies.

But now i'm left with loads of dry lavender and need some ideas...I've got loads of fabric remnants (one of my passions - can't walk past a fabric shop without picking up one of their remnant bags) but really would like to put this leftover stuff to some use.......any ideas???

Would also like a ragdoll sewing pattern - any one know of any good sites for this sort of thing?????

Keep up the good posts!!

Lavender Bags!! I haven't been able to find these in years and they make your clothes smell so nice when you shove them in the drawer.

for bath salts, last page posted by Ms Thrift. As I remember she made lots for presents at Christmas and they went down really well. She does use essential oils but you could try it with the real thing.
When life hands you a lemon, make sure you ask for tequilla and salt ;)
