It was reported in Retail Week today that many companies are now holding "secret sales"
The company employs the tactic of emailing "friends and family" money off vouchers, a bit like the one Martin posted for Threshers 40% off wine etc.
Of course what happens next is that the email/voucher is sent around the world at break-neck speed! Companies who are known to kown to use this tactic are Oasis, Threshers, New Look, Selfridges, Gap, Borders and Habitat.
The major benefit for the company is that they have spent virtually nothing on marketing and at the same time they haven't alerted the city which could affect their share price!
So come on get posting links these vouchers....:D
