  • What shape is your hamper?

perhaps you could wrap the bath towel around some cardboard and use this to "build up" the sides of the hamper then you could get more stuff in.If you get what I mean.

Otherwise buy a bigger hamper - how about a laundry hamper? Or maybe do two - one for each theme.

not sure if this is what sophiesmum means but if you wrap the towel round some card and put it in the hamper at an angle ie. from top back to bottom front. You would then layer things up.

thats what i was thinking but i have too much bath stuff and not enough coffee things for that :o the basket i have is a laundry basket although smaller sides... the laundry baskets around here were pushing £25 unless you buy a plastic one... my sister is on her way up to help... the problem is i have no where to store it (as an uncomplete thing) i think i brought too much :p

edit: i have just a plain packing box that i can do something with i think  anyways i will report back later :D
  • hope your sister can help you get sorted.

I got the one for my Daughter from the £ shop its a bit like a small laundry basket about 24 inches wide might be good for the coffee part of the hamper and save you spending more than is needed.

    Hi
Not sure if you have solved your problem yet but I have an idea for you.
What about folding up the towel to the same size as the base of the hamper then sitting the hamper on top of it. Once the whole thing is cellophaned & ribboned it will look lovely. That then frees up space inside the basket.
I have the sme problem with one I'm doing. The book I have will clutter up the inside so have decided the basket will sit on top of it.

M & S are selling hamper baskets- the idea is you then buy stuff from them to fill the basket. They have 3 sizes, they're wider at the top than the bottom so you can spread stuff out. Failing that either some towels in the bottom or some scrunched up tissue paper.
:idea:I got an idea, an idea so smart my head would explode if I even began to know what I was talking about:idea:
