What's best place to buy a wrist watch?

I have finally decided to treat myself to a nice watch :-) After lots of window shopping I decided to buy Rado Ceramica wrist watch. Watches from this collection are ranging from £850 to £950 in the high street.

My question is, are there any shops (online or offline), that specialise in watches, and offer good value?

Don't have much experience buying watches. So, any help that you could provide in getting a good deal on this watch will be much appreciated.

Regards
Vyas

I recently used https://www.AATime.co.uk, for my wifes Xmas present, and they were top notch. Ordered on Sunday night, sent confirmation of my address via faxon Monday morning, received it Tuesday morning.

I buy nearly everything online. Not bought a house yet but cars, expensive electrical equipment etc. no problem.

However, when I bought my Tag Heuer it had to be a bricks and mortar accredited jeweller. I've seen extremely good counterfeits in Malaysia and Turkey and was not willing to take the risk that I'd spent £1000 on one of these. Yes, they are cheaper online but make sure that they have a contact address, telephone number and even better personal recommendations before you go ahead and buy online.

I bought my Gucci from Watches Planet in the states, UK price £695, paid £302 (obviously dependant on exchange rate): -

They minimise duty (in fact I didn't pay any) and I received my watch in 2 days and had it authenticated in the UK. Excellent service.
  • I used https://www.creativewatch.co.uk last month to buy a Tissot watch and saved £21 on the RRP. Service was faultless, would definitely recommend.
  • Some good deals here although not the make you appear to be after.
