I am lucky enough to live in Kent and my local paper - the Kentish Express regularly has codes for ferry trips. These are the ones from this weeks papers: Valid for Dover to Calais crossings

Free bottle of Echo Falls red or white wine to be claimed in the P&O ferries onboard shop (free wine voucher will be issued on day of departure)

Foot passenger for £3 Sun-Fri or £6 Saturday

Car Afternoon day trip- online fare only (Depart after 12 noon and return before midnight same day with car + 9 passengers £17

Car full day trip - Depart anytime and return before midnight same day with car + 9 passengers £19 online or £23 phone bookings (£10 supplement for Saturdays)

The offer states that the free wine voucher will be issued on the day of departure - presumably to those that have booked using this code. The other special offer vouchers for discounts on wine etc. were printed in the 16th November edition of the Kentish Express - a weekly newspaper for the Kent area and include a voucher for five bottles of Echol Falls wine for £10.

ahall41116 I have pmd you asking for your address and I will send them to you if you want them. Unfortunately I only have one set of vouchers - there were none in this week's edition.

Even better than the Kent Messenger offer just phone P&O on 01304 864003 and ask to book and take up the current News of the World offer. This allows foot passengers to travel on a day trip, getting off in Calais,if you want (some don't!) for ONE Pound! Pay on a debit card, they charge £2 for credit cards . I believe there are also similar silly discounts for cars. They claim limited availability but what is the limit for foot passengers on a ferry?
