Jazzing up my hot water bottle

Yesterday I bought 3 hot water bottles and wondered if you had any suggestions for making covers for them either from scratch, or using something else that I may already have lurking in my home! :D
Thanks

You could knit covers for them. I used to do this with my Gran as a child.

Has MSG started a trend here? Pimp my hot water bottle anyone?
    I have plenty of willpower - it's won't power I need.

    Pink and fluffy I think!

Or an old fluffy dressing gown would make a fab cover.

Depends why you want to make them. If you're feeling lazy poundland have some covers in. £1, obviously ;)

Any good at sewing - you could reuse an old towel
or kids old tshirt - sew up sleeves and attach something like velcro or poppers to the bottom use the neck for the neck of the bottle?
  • Use a cosy jumper. Put the hot water bottle inside the body section then wrap the arms around it a couple of times and tie to secure.

Hey presto - no sewing, extra cosy on your feet, and possibly even a warm jumper to put on in the morning!
