  • Not that I have made hampers for ages but you could just use that shredded tissue paper as a base or cotton wool balls depending on what type of hamper you are doing  I suppose cotton wool could look like snow ;)

I am still getting stuf for mine so will be interested in what else everyone else has to suggest :)

astonsmummy, where did you get your baskets please?

I'd scrunch up some xmas paper, or get some tissue paper and scrunch that, then put your bits in and wrap in florists cellophane. I've just got some of that off ebay for about £4 inc delivery for 10mtrs.

Good luck, I bet they will look fab

I got them from wilkinsons, £1.99, they are a decent size too.

  • Liddl's did have baskets like these a couple of weeks ago, several different shapes and sizes, sorry can't remember price but think roughly 1.99/2.99.

If youve got a shredder then just put any old paper through it and it makes nice packaging (I take coloured paper to work and use the shredder there!)
  • my sure a florist shop would sell you a few metres of cello for about £2
