Toffee Apple Recipe

Ingredients
7 apples plus lolliepop sticks
250g sugar
120ml water
2 tbsp golden syrup
30g butter
red/green food colouring
dissolve the sugar in the water in a sucepan on the hob.
when dissolved stir in the rest of the ingredients
bring to the boil for a further 5-8 minutes
meanwhile, put the apples on sticks ready for coating
after 8 minutes the toffee should be very gooey
dip the apples in (one at a time) and twist and turn the apple until fully coated.
Leave to set/cool on a lightly oiled baking tray
When cool wrap in celephane (do not wrap in celephane before cool as the celephane melts to the toffee)
Apples should keep for 2 days or so
