Not sure which part of the forum this one should go in !
i have been scanning a load of old photographs in and sorting them into groups etc and burning either to dvd or cd . I have taken a copy of each to work and kept it in my drawer in case something happens and my house burns down as photo's are one thing you can never replace.
I have made a cd of one of my children, from a tiny baby a few hours old, right up until current day. I set it up so each photo dissolved in and put some fancy titles on and things and added a sound track later. I thought it would be a nice thing to for granparents for christmas maybe.
the world is your oyster really as I have also transferred a few old clips from video from years ago and incorporated them. Made me cry just doing it but then I am really sentimental

Thats a great idea. DH did something similar when we first got the new camcorder mixed film in with load of pics. First time I watched it I got choked up (make that everytime) made me realise just how beatuiful my girls are. Elise was about 2 at the time and she loved watching it over and over again (not too vain).
He keeps on about doing more upto date ones but never seems to get round to it.0
