I read in another thread that some people are ashamed to have their signatures in other boards. I hate that

I'm very proud of this board and you should be very proud to be a DFW.

So why not lets add something to those signatures as a group (well I'm thankfully DF so I won't be but you get the point)

How about

Loudly and proudly dealing with my debts!

I'm happy (when we agree) for a Official MSE slogan to be added to it ie

Official MSE.com DFW slogan "Loudly and proudly dealing with my debts!"

A bit cumbersome, but you get where I'm going.

Lets agree on one here

Copied ever so slightly from "Your Money Or Your Life" by Joe Dominguez, but I've always like:

    "No shame, no blame"

Im not sure that's true newsmonkey. I think the point of debt is for some they are to blame - they made mistakes - its a problem. Yet the real key here is to be proud to be sorting your debts out - rather than for having debts in the first place.

  • Oooh I'm liking "Loudly and proudly dealing with my debts!" a lot!!

Yes, I have noticed a lot of negative and throwaway comments aimed at DFW's on these boards lately - not sure why, seems ridiculouus to slate someone who is facing up to their responsibilities but there you go.....

I like the idea. How about:

I'm loud, I'm proud, beating my debts into the ground!

Although, I don't think you can escape on the grounds of DFness...
