Pearson (book publisher) One Day Sales 50% off

Speech-Mark-Left.gifOfficial MoneySavingExpert.com Insert:

What's the deal?

Everyday this week, Pearson will be giving 50% off books in different sections. Plus, postage is free too.

Here’s a full list of the sections of the day:

Tuesday 10 October - Computing
Wednesday 11 October - Business
Thursday 12 October - Marketing
Friday 13 October - Careers & Personal Development
Saturday 14 October - Finance & Accounting
Sunday 15 October - Life Skills

How do I get the offer?

Simply browse now, decide which books you want, and come back on the relevant day; books in that subject area will have 50% off.

Check you can't find it cheapest first

Do remember though, just because it's 50% off doesn't mean it's the cheapest. If you're unsure use book price comparison service Bookbrain to check if anywhere else sells it for less.

Worth looking at possibly, but check the likes of amazon first as they hardly ever list books at full list price, which I assume is what these guys will take 50% off. Some books on amazon go for upto 70% off list price, so make sure you do your homework :)

hmm.. Interesting - Wonder if I get double discount - as an employee they're 50% off on the company network anyway, but if they're 50% off + 50% off again that would be handy! Pity I'm not in work tomorrow to check. :)

I just popped back to say the sale is very good indeed, quite amazed actually. I was getting confused and thought pearson were the publishers themselves, so wasnt expecting great things. Ordered a couple of book from computer section which I was going to buy anyway, so £70 worth of books for just over £40 compared to amazon. Cheers OP, and Ive joined their mailing list now so I will get emails on this in future.

Also, if you click the computing section not all off the books appear. Search for a book you want and it may just be there.

  • Yes do check by doing a search to see if your book is on offer.

I ordered two Business books for my course this morning, then just went back on a searched for my accounting book and that's in the sale today as well!

I assumed that would be in the Finance and Accounting day on Saturday but didn't risk it and just bought it today instead.

So make sure you do a search! I just got this semesters books for £58.50 instead of £117! I'll have to pay the same amount again in January for my new courses though :(

I thought some of the accounting books would be reduced on Saturday too, but they're actually included in the business section as well as accounting!
