I used to make my own soap and bath bomb type things and have made scubs which are realy poplular and v easy to make. Its the type of thing you use before a bath/shower to exfoliate and soften the skin but i wouldnt recommend using it on the face. And be careful it makes the bath/shower v slippery!
no real exact amount just have the consistency how you want.Basically take some course salt (dead sea would be good but not needed) add some liquid soap(or shower gel i suppose!) to moisten, add roughly the same amount of whatever oil you fancy( sweet almond, olive, peach kernel etc) then add some essential oil -do a google search if your not sure about which ones to use as some are not good in quantity. I love peppermint but after using this in one it certainly made my bits tingle!! For ages!! I love ylang ylang as well and its an aphrodisiac too!
Stir it all around and put it into some wide necked pressty jars and voila! a very nice pressie
