Lg 37" lcd £710 from empiredirect

Hi, I've been looking for a slightly bigger tv than the 32" discussed in previous threads and missed the Aldi 40" one so this one seems to be quite good...
its a LG 37" hd ready from empiredirect.co.uk (sorry don't know how to link).
The tv code is Lg Electronics 37LC2RA at £699 plus £25 del (-2% quidco) so works out around £710 all in. Next cheapest I can find is a £800 matsui from Currys.
I've been a reader of the site for some time but have never really seen anything worth mentioning so I hope this is of use to someone.

Dunno about the quality of the telly, but i had a very bad customer service(or lack) experience with these recently. We were burgled in April and our insurance companys' replacer of camera, camcorder and telly/video was Empire Direct. They were the last company to contact us regarding replacing our items... it took them till July just to phone us!, and this after many calls to our insurance and loss adjuster to move them on. When they did call us the staff were surly, rude and unhelpful to say the very least. They tried to palm us off with some cr*p replacement gear which we refused to accept. Our loss adjuster asked them to upgrade our replacements to the next price bracket but even after several calls between us an them they would not renegotiate the replacements. After six weeks of calls, mostly us chasing them, they eventually agreed to supply the replacements. Two weeks later and we were still waiting for them to call us with a delivery date. Our loss adjuster finally gave them up as a dead loss and the insurance sent us a cheque instead, so they lost the order altogether. Not to mention that I was going to buy my new fridge freezer off them but bought it from Currys instead.

Anyone else had problems with them or were we just unlucky?
